Introduction

It would be hard to name a production car from the Nineties that made as much of an impact on people as the Viper. An even greater challenge is to say something about these cars that hasn't already been said.

The Viper convertibles are great cars. Most of us remember where we saw our first one, and what color it was.

Vipers are not intended to be the ultimate in technology or comfort. They are what they are: brutal and rude, with roots both in classic sports cars as well as in hot rods and muscle cars.

It's great to see an American company producing something as exciting as this car. Along with the C5 and C6 Corvettes, the Dodge Viper coupe is subjectively one of the best-looking American cars ever produced. People that won't admit they want one are probably lying.
